Biography

Stephen Zades is a nationally recognized leader in the field of marketing, internet strategy, innovation and creativity. He speaks and consults internationally on the themes of developing Imaginative Intelligence-the capacity to originate and cultivate new ideas.

Steve began his career with P&G, was GM of AC Nielsen Research and was Chairman and CEO of a top national advertising agency, Long Haymes Carr. He has consulted with major clients including IDEO, VF Corporation (The North Face, Lee, Wrangler, Nautica, REEF, Vans, Kipling) Wachovia, Virgin, Hanes, Unilever, and T.J. Maxx.

Steve is the founder and CEO of The Odyssey Network, a leading innovation and marketing consultancy he founded to help organizations accelerate real growth and develop the talents of its people.

Steve is the author of Mad Dogs, Dreamers and Sages: Growth in the Age of Ideas. In this work, Steve coined the word Imaginative Intelligence and provides the tools for developing your creativity and innovation skills.

Steve is also an Executive Adjunct Professor at Wake Forest University, where he teaches internet and brand marketing.

Steve is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
